children ages 6 and up who have had surgery on
their nose or sinuses in the past.

*Analysis at one month was not evaluated during the clinical trial, and any results at one month may be due to chance. Individual results may vary.
The most common side effects in patients with AFRS include injection site reactions; eye problems, including eye and eyelid inflammation, redness, swelling, itching, eye infection, and blurred vision; high count of a certain white blood cell (eosinophilia); stomach problems(gastritis); joint pain (arthralgia); trouble sleeping (insomnia); and toothache.
DUPIXENT was studied in a 52-week clinical trial in 62 adult and pediatric patients aged 6 years and older with AFRS. The safety and effectiveness of DUPIXENT was assessed in AFRS patients who have a history of sino-nasal surgery. During the study, patients were allowed to continue background intranasal corticosteroids.

AFRS occurs when someone has an exaggerated inflammatory response to fungi in their sinuses. AFRS is more common in warm, humid climates.
AFRS can be difficult to diagnose because it has many overlapping symptoms to other sinus problems. Since no single test gives a definite answer, getting a clear AFRS diagnosis often takes time and multiple steps. It is important to get a proper workup and diagnosis so that an appropriate treatment can be started.
DUPIXENT is a biologic that can help block two of the key sources of the inflammation in AFRS. It is a treatment that works continuously between doses to help manage AFRS.
